Our history

Creation of MICROTEC by Derrick Neve, around a remote backup solution for SMEs. In the early years the company sold PC systems, modems and backup solutions.

Raphael Neve joins the MICROTEC company as a software developer, and the first projects are carried out with apple grower cooperatives in the Loire Valley and Vendée regions of France.

Year 2000, MICROTEC employs 8 people in two separate departments: bespoke software development with a portfolio of 50 active accounts, and hardware, networking and infrastructure.

Twelve employees, 150 custom software accounts maintained in many different sectors (agriculture, industry, services, funeral services, textile, logistics, catering, etc.)

Creation of GROUPE ALBATROS by Raphael at the time of Derrick’s retirement. The goal is the creation of subsidiaries to distribute highly verticalized software solutions in each of the sectors where MICROTEC has gathered expertise over the years. As such, MICROTEC maintains the role of the group’s R&D technical center.

NEPTUNE is founded in partnership with Le Choix Funéraire, a subsidiary dedicated to the distribution of our existing ERP also called NEPTUNE, which is dedicated to the funeral market. Furthermore, in order to strengthen its presence in the agricultural sector and more specifically in the wine/vineyard segment, GROUPE ALBATROS acquired I3S INFORMATIQUE based in Sancerre in July 2017. The TELLUSSIA brand was also created to materialize all of the group’s agricultural solutions.

The group acquires VEILTEC based in the Landes region of France, a specialist in technical monitoring solutions in the tree fruit and vineyard sector. In July of the same year, the group acquired HESPERID based in Mayenne. HESPERID specializes in time tracking solutions for vegetable growers (greenhouse / open field), horticulturists.

The group acquires the dutch company RIMPRO, which specializes in decision support tools for tree fruit orchards and vineyards. This significantly increases the group’s international reach in these sectors.

The group joins forces to create AGRONET in Warsaw to support the development of technical hardware and software solutions: weather stations, IOT sensors, and a farm management platform called Greencloud.
